What to write about
Corrections and errata
The most useful email you can send. This site describes a framework PMI has restructured twice in five years, and accuracy is the entire product. If a process name, a mapping, a count or an explanation is wrong, say so plainly — the page and the specific error is enough detail. Corrections get made quickly and without argument, and material errors are noted on the page rather than quietly edited away.
Citing, linking, or teaching from this material
You do not need permission to link to anything here, to quote a short passage with attribution, or to point students, colleagues or chapter members at a page. That is what the site is for.
If you are assembling a reading list, a university LibGuide, a chapter resource page or internal training material and something is missing that would make this more useful to you, say what it is. That feedback genuinely shapes what gets written next, and it is the fastest way to get a gap filled.
Questions about the content
Questions about what a process actually does, how the editions differ, or why a particular mapping was made the way it was are all welcome. The reasoning behind the edition crosswalk is published rather than asserted, so if you disagree with a mapping, the argument is worth having — several judgement calls in it are genuinely arguable.
Licensing and commercial use
Reproducing substantial parts of the site, using the diagrams in paid training material, or building on the crosswalk dataset are all possible, but they need a short conversation first. Write with what you have in mind and what it is for.
What this site cannot help with
- PMI certification, eligibility, exam booking or audits. PM Playbook has no affiliation with PMI and no access to your certification record. Those questions belong with PMI directly.
- Exam questions or answer banks. This is a reference to what the framework says, not a question bank, and there are none to share.
- Consulting on a specific project. The material here is general reference; it cannot substitute for someone who knows your context.
